Mk1 5 Door - For Sale

My Dad passed away and I have inherited his Mark 1 Golf and wish to sell it.  Can anybody give me an idea of the value I should be asking and is there anyone interested in purchasing it.
Details are as follows:

2 owners; 64,000 miles; 1457 cc; 5 door; silver; Golf GL Automatic;
RegNo: RRL 540Y; Tax and MOT just expiring this month;
Date of first registration: 11/11/1982.
Been used as a general runaround in town mostly.
Area: Lichfield, Staffordshire

I might be interested, depending on price really

As a ball park, there's the link to Eric in my sig, he had MOT and Tax till mid next year, ?320, plus Mrs lawsy's Bluey, with a years mot and no tax, but lower miles and rare colour, ?400..

Both are 1.5 Auto GL's

Might be wise to put another 12 months MOT on it as they are worth peanuts without one.

i find that no car even a mk1 is fetching the guide price at the moment due to the good old credit crunch
