Mk1 1.6 5 speed 5 door Diesel for sale. Taxed and tested.

Hello people.

I am selling my 1982 MK1 5 speed diesel. It has 10 months MOT and 4 months road tax.
The car is immaculate for its age and totally solid all round.
I purchased the car to use thru the winter to enable me to leave my other
car in the garage but over this past two months the police have stopped me twice
to check the car for "safety" which has resulted in me being late for work twice.
I have been informed by my work that this cannot happen again. This means the car
has got to go to enable me to get a newer car.
The car has loads of history and since i have ower her she has had a full service including,
timing belt and adjustment, new expansion tank and cap, new speedo cable, new temp sensor, new reverse switch, full coolant flush, new sump gasket, new handbrake cable and rear wheel cylinder, two new rear wheel bearings, new tyres, and new wipers.
The car has GTI seats with a very nice leather steering wheel. It aso has the three VDO dials at the gear stick and also the 4 headlghts with mk2 steel wheels.
The car is a red/ burgundy colour and constantly returns 55 mpg.
I am gutted to be selling her but i just cannot be late for work any more.

She comes with a load of spares including a nother cylinder head , injection pump, wiper motor and linkage and every bit of glass and two rear windows with seals plus a load more stuff i cannot think of right now.
I am looking for £1000 for the car.
