MK 1 GTI 1.8 16v campaign in red

  1983 model, 3 former keepers from new, I have owned this vehicle for ten years , after much
 searching i found this good example, The car has a 16v engine out of a mark 2 which i totally sorted   before the instalation. I E.brand 4-1 ashley manifold and exhaust,.new cam belt kit, new oil seals, all gearbox oil seals, new clutch kit sachs,
 all engine mounting original vag deisel , rear brake disc convertion, new 22mm 16v master cylinder and servo, new handbrake cables, brand new koni coil over kit with bonrath top mounts costing just over  800.00 pounds hardly done 500…miles. this car has been stored for 5 years and have to unfortunatly part with my beloved mark 1 due to storage space…..now the bad bit …the car needs bodywork and spraying……some of the panels are in primer , i also have other parts for this car , i have all the decal set inc the side stripes, i also have many more items , i have spent thousands on this car and if you are looking for a decnt project than this will be a great opportunity for someone who has time and money to finish the prioject at a fraction of the price, the ride and susspention of this car is spot on ….and smooth, all the interior is intact no rips or tears in door cards, you will need 2 bumpers , and arches if you want to go back to original look…..original wheels on the car p slots, i have all the paperwork…including a letter from vag stating production date of vehicle proving its a campaign and all the service book, this car was serviced by GTI engineering for many years…..all docs on the engine to go with the car loads of history. i am looking for 2500.ono..tel 07903010004
