Here we up up for sale my mk1 16v on twin forties running Megajolt jnr ignition and a few other goodies…

Brief description:-
Golf 'c' shell, one of the best around, really is a solid. Front panel lightly dented but not broken paint so not rusted,(have a new 'hadrians panel'm available to go with car and same make of front wing (drivers i think) few car park dinks as you'd expect on a 27yr old car, also dent on corner of boot where some twit has hit it… Started cleaning under body too, only managed one side so far but it's cleaned up nice with no rust found so far!!

Engine:-
90,000 mile KR engine, standard spec running Weber 40's on a TWM manifold, Megajolt jnr ignition, 4 branch and full ashley 16v exhaust. Also has new trumpets and ITG filters. Polished rocker, could do with another going over, New timing belt 50 miles ago, oil and filter change also.

Gearbox:-
Standard 8v 020 box running a Black Diamond uprated clutch, new clutch cable. New gearbox oil too. New CV gaiter too for MOT

Brakes:-
G60 front discs (280mm) ferrodo pads (virtually b/new) 16v servo and m/c

Suspension:-
Don't know the make but has uprated shocks and springs put on by last owner.

Interior:-
Pretty sparse in there, has two front seats and fully carpeted, full dash and centre console, no vdo gauges and no radio!!

Electrics:-
All the electrics work except rev counter but been told thats just a wire from the megajolt module. All lights work, also has remote central locking and Clifford alarm (though no cert).

Wheels:-
Golf G60 steels with good tyres all round, have all 4 centre caps and stud covers.

I have also recently bought a new drivers scraper seal, window support and grille clips from VW, not cheap..

I bought this car six months ago with a snapped timing belt, so swapped the engine and got it tip top with an mot till 17/3/2011. i have replaced everything that needed doing, just needs a few finishing touches and it'll be superb, could do with a wee tweaking of the carbs, had to tune them down for emissions…
