I bought the car with a cutting out problem, the previous owners replaced nearly all the fuel tank/filler/filters/pump, alternator iirc, coil pack, leads, coil management unit, dizzy etc, i replaced the Spark Plugs as soon as i got it, and found the problem to be the Fuel Sender Unit wholes being blocked, now all fixed..

It has got very good paintwork all round, it's a 18yo car so there are some little marks in the bumpers and the inner hood lining is a bit tatty but that's about it!

If you want an original and clean looking cruiser, this is your car.. PAS makes it so easy to drive, no heavy steering here!

I've just forked out ?180 for the Tax, a fair bit for the leccy hood bits and Weber carb, so no silly offers, by the looks of prices of on Pistonheads/ebay etc this looks a very fair price, for a very straight example of a mk1 golf!

Forgot the 'soundsystem'.. has Pioneer mp3 Headunit and Magnat 6x9s in the parcel shelf (which are useless when the top's down)
