Immaculate Original Lhasa Green Campaign 3 Owners 90k LOOK!!

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately I now have to part with my beloved Mk1 1.8 GTI Campaign, due to an expanding family.

I bought this vehicle 17 years ago so I am only the 3rd owner from new, during this time it has spent all it's life in a garage when not in use. It currently has 90294 miles on the clock.

I cannot stress how clean and original this car is!  There is no signs of any rust anywhere, it starts and drives perfectly and looks amazing.

It was first registered in 1983 and is an A reg,  The car has just flown through an MOT with no adviseries.

It has just been serviced including a new radiator, shoes, pads and discs.

The original P alloys have just been refurbished (yes the part no. does end in an A!) and fitted with new tyres.

The only parts that have been changed from standard are the suspension which now runs Spax RSX fully adjustable struts all round (I still have all the original parts so could be refitted if required), and the exhaust is a stainless steel full system 4 branch manifold back from Magnex, apart from that everything is as it should be.

The car has a Sigma Alarm linked to the central locking, and a 6 disc CD player.

The selling price is ?4250 and I think that this is more than reasonable considering the mileage and rarerty of Campaigns in this condition, the buyer will not be dissapointed

If you wish to view or have any questions call Mark on 07775 910960 or 01252 682021 or email mark@axis-uk.com, the car is located in Aldershot Hampshire GU12 4UP.

will you take payments in installments? say ?5 a month for the next 75 years? that should cover it! hehe!

any ways… what insurance group is it in?

Post

Yeah I'll take installments,

1st payment ?4175 then a pound for the next 75 years

Not sure about the insurance group think it was group 12 last time it was insured which was about 5 years ago, I know you can now get it insured as a Classic because of it's age which is peanuts, well certainly compaired to the price of the insurance on my Scooby

just been looking at insurance. ?400 a year on classic. ?600 normal. which seems a bit irish when they wanted to charge me ?700 when i was looking at a 15 year old 1.1 polo!!

starting a new job next week so depending how many pay days it takes and if its still around, i may just have to take it off you!!

u understand that i only want it for the phone!?!

Original paint and panels ??

Yes, all original except one front wing the one that used to have the aerial mounted to it, managed to dent it reversing out of a carparking space in a retail park about 6 years ago, parked next to a black steel post and forgot when I came back from shopping, DOH! :(

Professionally repaired through my insurance company using genuine parts, had the bonnet blown over at the same time to blend the paint and to loose some stone chips and had the aerial relocated bee sting style on the roof.

The original wheels have just been refurbished.

Apart from that Bodywork is as it should be, obviously there are some stone chips in places but no rust as you would expect after 24 years! :D
