before i start i will state that this car will need to be rolling road set up and taxed,

For sale is my Helios Blue mk1 GTI campaign 2.0 16vg60, 104,000 when the car was mot'd back in may and has since done 280 miles on brand new clocks,
***Engine: 2.0 9A corrado engine which was removed from a 98k corrado, 4mm spacer gasket, scirocco inlet manifold with elbow joint, flowed head, jabbasport stage 2 charger with rallye outlet, merc transporter i/c, all wired up with a TSR modified loom further modified to accomodate the 16v engine, G60 digifant ECU, 350cc red top injectors, custom fuel rail, alternator relocation bracket, adjustable FPR,
***Transmission: mk2 td gearbox for stronger internals and longer gears, eurospec lightened flywheel with brand new black diamond clutch
***Brakes: refurb'd G60 calipers and carriers with brand new discs and pads
***Exhaust: Ashley 4 branch manifold, magnex system with modified stainless OEM look tailpipe
***Suspension: Hottuning coilovers done less than 2000 miles, upper rear strut brace, lower front strut brace
***Interior: Recaros retrimmed in original mk1 grey striped material with brand new proper fitting covers, brand new clocks 160mph/8,000rpm bought from Germany with warranty, period radio with ipod connection (which isnt wired in) mint dash with no cracks/ splits etc, vdo gauges, centre speaker, headlining in excellent condition (small tear on d/s c pillar vinyl)
***Wheels: 15" Pirelli P slots which have been powdercoated and havent got a mark on them, Pirelli tyres all round, spare 15" sebring alloy to clear brakes
***Alarm: laserline alarm with remote central locking fitted
***Bodywork: is in very good condition with the only bit of rust being on the scuttle ( i have a repair panel) a little on the leading edge of bonnet,  no welding, underneath is solid, there is some micro blistering on the roof, brand new genuine badges, green tint etched windows all round, the inner lights in the grille are dummies due to the size of the i/c


the reason for sale is that i simply dont use it, the car was mot'd last may and i have done 280 miles in it to basically make sure everything is ok, i had planned to get the car rolling road set up but my mrs was ill and this prevented that happening, although this car drives and is all good it will need to be set up as its not running quite right, that said it will still pull a good speed  :wink:
i have based my price on it owing me a lot more and due to the rarity of the helios campaign and the fact theres only 1 other helios 16vg60 which is a 1.8 and sold for £8495 last year and the fact it needs to be set up, ideally adding a stage 4/5 charger for best power
