Golf mk1, lowered, camber, BBS RM's

Hi, here for sale I have my mk1 golf, very regrettable sale as the car is great, full of character and never fails to put a smile on my face!

£2250 but very much up for offers as it needs to go due to finding a new car.
Based in Swindon, Wiltshire

It's a mk1 Golf C Formel E 5dr in light blue, the best colour
MOT until end of December 12
Tax until end of December also

It's mostly standard and pretty good. Is very fun to drive, handles nicely, and is pretty low and can easily go lower.

Mods/spec are listed below;

Engine:

1.3 Polo GT injection 106k miles when fitted
Had a full service when fitted
Also has a Poloace chip with a 8k raised rev limit
Runs and pulls well, very reliable
5 speed gearbox
Top fill radiator
Custom lower gearbox polybushed mount so it doesn't hit everything
New battery just before Christmas
Fuel lines run through interior so don't get banged up from being low
Just replaced thermostat housing

Chassis:

Raised front turrets
Scuttle tray removed
Chassis notched
Common clutch panel problem has been sorted with a new panel welded in

Interior:

Corrado seats front and rear, give a nice low seating position
Antera 340mm steering wheel
Sony CD player with aux cable for ipod etc
Sony door speakers
Instrument panel with rev counter
Heaters work very well!!
All electrics, wipers, lights, fans, etc work perfectly.

Brakes and suspension:

G40 front discs with next to new pads, discs and flex hoses
Completely new rear drums, shoes, cylinders and wheel bearings
New track rods each side
Coilovers all round
Ball joint spacers and track rod flip kit (yet to be fitted)

Wheels and tyres:

BBS RM 6.5j/7.5j front/rear.
All black with gold bolts and gold lettered centre caps.
165/45 tyres with loads of tread left
Brand new matching tyre on the rear due to puncture

Body and exterior:

Crystal headlights with Osram night breaker bulbs and upgraded wiring loom
New flag mirrors
Rabbit rear badge

Things to note:

Body work isn't perfect, does have some dents and some scratches, does clean up pretty well though - all adds to the character
Passenger front door has been replaced due to someone kicking the old one, isn't a perfect colour match but would look better after a flat and polish but this has never bothered me.
Temp gauge doesn't work, but engine doesn't over heat. Fan kicks in as it should etc.
The paint where the turrets and scuttle were removed doesn't match but was used so it doesn't go all rusty.
The front door cards have also had holes cut out for speakers.

Overall its pretty good, very fun to drive and will go very low J
Happily email pics on request and will try to post pic this week.

Probably more I've forgotten aswell….
Any questions let me know, cheers
Tom
