I have a 1979 golf gti series 1 rolling shell for sale in mars red, its got a fair amount of rot but nothing that cant be sorted fairly easily, as the area's can be cut out and new panels welded in. I had a quote of £500 to get everything  done and ready for prepping for paint, but if you can weld yourself then you'd end up with a cheap solid shell.

All glass is included, along with tailgate, doors, both front wings, bonnet, outer sill panels, rear valance repair panel, gti clocks and some other random bits. You will need a replacement front panel (although buying a complete solid front end would sort alot of the work pretty quickly), some sheet metal for the inner sills and some outer rear arches.

Could be a sweet car and would be a real shame to see it neglected further. I no longer have the time i thought i'd have for it, so sadly there is little point in keeping it.
