I bought this golf about 6-7 months ago with another one, basically one of the cars had a good engine and one had a good body so i bought both and made one better one out of the two.

The engine.
Its a 1.6 non turbo diesel with a cav injection system. the owner before me basically had the whole engine rebuilt including

Intermediate shaft oil seal
new clutch,cranckshaft and gearbox oil seals
oil filter change
new thermostat
new front brake pads
new fan belt
service diesel injectors
reset pump timing.

That is one receipt i have 7more for other work done by

The shell.
The car is a 5 door in Monaco bleu i believe the paint work isint in best condition but a hindsight better than when i got it.

Areas that need to be looked at.
.Bonnet had a small amount of rust coming through so i sanded all back treated and primed

Near side wing had a small dent at the front and was slightly rusted filled the dent and treated rust also primed

Drivers door
Original was shot at the bottom so took from the other car.

Tailgate.
had a slight dent in it so filled and primered then sprayed but with the wrong shade of blue so sanded back down.

rear passanger door.
bubble of rust under the door handle was sanded down and primed also sprayed the wrong shade of blue.

Thats all i can think of off the top of my head but your more than wellcome to have a look around for yourself.

The wheels.
I bought these with the cars did a bit of research and found that they are Le Castellet off a scirocco gtx. these wheels are absolutely mint with brand new pirelli p600 tyres. although one has gone down after sitting for a while.

Interior
The carpet is grey very clean seats are a blue colour drivers side has a tear in it. when i put the seats in a cleaned out the runners and re greased them and black door cards. parcel shelf is slightly broken underneath.


Points that need attention/sorting.
1 Needs a new starter motor
2 Struggling to get the petrol come through the line smoothly
3 drive shafts need hooking up. have all brand new bolts and gaskets for this
4. left front indicator lens broken
5. front and rear wiper motors need replaced. also have both of these of the other car.
6.needs a new horn
7. problem with the rear lights not working possibly needs new bulbs
8.the spare wheel well needs welding hole in the bottom.

All that i can think of but viewing would be best to get an idea of it.
