Here's an opportunity for someone…..This has been my passion for the last 2 years but due to the imminent opening of my new restaurant I simply and very unfortunately won't have time to complete this labour of love  :cry:
I bought the car in Mallorca in 2007, when I lived there. It was bought new in Switzerland (1993) and imported into Mallorca in 2001. It is a 1993 Toscana special edition. I ran it in standard trim for 2 years and in 2009 decided to take it off the road to undertake a full and extensive refurb.
After stripping the car back to bare shell, I have had it professionally resprayed in Audi 'Aviator Grey'. The finish of the spray job is absolutely immaculate and encompasses the bare interior and wheel arches too.
At present the shell is on the original wheels, and the standard brakes, exhaust and suspension are on the car. The original engine has been removed and sold but I still have all of the original ancilliary engine fitiings boxed and these are included in this sale.
I have sourced and purchased the best quality new parts in anticipation of completing the project to top show winning standards, these parts are listed as follows;

Full original front and rear seats, re-furbished and re-upholstered in Minor blue leather with grey piping at Newton Commercial

New Momo Competition Steering wheel and boss kit
New Wolfsurg chrome window winders and Door lock pins

New chrome 'Golf ball' gear knob
Original golf CL chrome interior door pulls and surrounds
New chrome door shut locking mechanisms
Original Golf CL exterior door handles
Re-trimmed carpet parcel shelf
New original chrome 'flag' wing mirrors

New chrome windscreen wiper arms with original LHD deflector
Original full rubber seal kit - Doors, windows, roof
Original Convertible roof - Very good condition with black mohair although personally I would have had it re-trimmed in blue to match interior
Chrome OZ turbo rims - 7x15 front and rear with correct 4/100 stud pattern and standard offset
Mk2 KR16v full engine and manifold - This was purchased from ed38 and sent directly to the engine shop. It has been fully stripped down and re-built with the addition of a fast road cam kit. The engine has also been fully repainted and bench tested.
All other original parts, i.e. dash, clocks, engine parts, rubber seals etc. are all included in the sale to be used or disposed of as you may wish.
As you will see from the photos, all the new parts are still boxed and brand new/unused so in peefect condition.













I'm looking to sell the whole project really and would ask for sensible offers around 6k. I will be totally honest, yet realistic: The project already owes me more than 9k but I know I won't be able to claw that all back!
I would be reluctant to break up the parts but will consider good offers for individual items if necessary.
