FOR SALE - MK1 Karmann GL Cabrio 1.5 Auto 1982 £1300

Up for sale is my black 1982 Karmann Cabrio 1.5 Auto

In Excellent condition throughout and unmodified.

Over the last 6 months I've had a lot of work done on her including a new Weber carb and manual choke fitted
Engine seals/gaskets replaced
New thermo switch
New temp sender switch
New leads/plugs
New Alternator
New Battery


Mileage is at 61945 though the speedo stopped working last summer so add about 2000 miles onto this. I know the history of the car and the previous 2 owners so I know this is correct, I'll try and get some service history to show this but can't guarantee!

The car had a new roof professionally fitted 3 years ago - no leaks, tears etc. Works perfectly and even has the original cream leather hood bag that came with the car.

The Auto gearbox is ultra smooth-no issues whatsoever.

The car has been garaged most of its life, no welding or major rust spots, solid throughout, the rear wheel arches have been repaired in the past but not a great job done on them Im afraid but they're sound, just cosmetically not great.

A few small dings here and there on the bodywork but overall been very well looked after and has not been abused!

Again paintwork not pristine but good.

Fantastic early example and a real blast to drive!

MOT is November - passed last year with no issues. Tax End of the Month
