For Sale MK1 1.8 GTI Rivage ?3000

Hi I bought my MK1 golf Rivage for ?3000 after months of hunting and traveled up to scotland to buy it,
N reg    Wrong its a 1993 K reg
97k
Ive used it to travel 30miles each way to work for 9month
HPI is ok
MOT being tested tomorro plan on sell it with at least 12months
Tax till Sept
Electric Windows, Roof, heated seat's, Central Locking  

I love this car and am very very unhappy to sell it, Origanly purchased to restore to original. I have now come across a financial hurdle known as a Baby! Girl if your interested due in september (yey and ney  :?  ) since I can no longer put aside my limited spare cash I cannot save for new parts or pay out when bits may decide they are to old, which they inevitably do,

Ok the previous owner went a little mad with extra white leather which I was going to replace. (covered the dash etc) I found the car through a link on this site but cant find the link now since its so long ago

On buying it I have spent ?1500+ replace the suspension (shocks and springs) all round replace the rocker gasket, Right Stub Axcel, Full service inc cam belt fan belt breaks etc also had to replace the altinator, all new tyres, fully waxed the underneath and skirts  Clutch Cable today wich was another ?20 nice n easy to fit mind  

Also fitted my sterio Alpine with Ipod adaptor obviouly not an original feature

I am saving up at the moment to replace the roof, ?300

I WILL NOT SELL THIS CAR TO BE STRIPED!! Looking for good home for it to go please

Nice looking car, what price are you looking for, you specified how much you paid for it and how much you spent out on it but not what you want/expect, i have a mate whos on the hunt for a nice sportline or rivage, lastly where abouts you based?

I'd like ?3500 but am open to offer's as obvioulsy its not finished and Im under pressure to sell,

Im based in Derby, East Midlands,
near Nottingham and M1 Junction 24a

will let my mate know its on offer and go from there, cheers

I thought it was a N reg at any rate, At the moment its on a private plate

HPI checkec when I bought it,

But I never recieved the log book origanly thought this was the DVLA.

Have since sent off my green copy of the log book waitng for it to be sent back,

I work for the Ambulance service and have had some police friends check up on the car, Found no problems

Anyways its got to go thought Id offer it here before advertising it
properly,

From the 1996 Mot certificates It's original regestration was K3 SLH first used in 1993

Delivery inspection 02.04.93 from the VW service book

oow ow regestered on the 30,03,1993 Is that K then? from HPI Check also says that the mileage is correct

I have a nice pile of old recipts as well and mot from 1996 to 2008 except  for the 2000 to 2001

Originaly it was sold by Grange Motors, in Essex to a Miss S L Haeger
stamped up to 1996 in service book,

cant find anymore info so Its a 1993 which I think is a K reg

yes mate thats it, a k reg….last year this model was released so this is the youngest age a rivage can be. i have a j.
as we all know year dont mean a thing tho. looks tidy im sure ul have no probs they are becoming rarer and rarer. and the leccy windows, hood and heated seats are well worth the extra pennies
