Excellent Mk1 Gti

I'm thinking of selling my golf altho will not let her go for less than shes worth as love her to much for that.
March 1983 GTi 1.8 in schwartz black with 146500 miles
Fully restored in 2004 and only driven in the dry since.
Interior in exceptional condition (Drivers seat repaired from bolster wear)
Full engine rebuild at 136000
Gearbox and clutch replaced since then.
Fantastic paintwork.
Completely standard apart from weitec suspension and black bbs alloys with chrome rims.

Lovely car mate but i think you may struggle to get that price in the present state of the economy.I've seen totally original 'campaigns' in top nick go for nearer 3k recently. Hang on to it,it won't depreciate :mrgreen:

Yeah prob will do! In no hurry so if right person comes along and falls in love with her like i did as wouldn't let her go to any one!

hi there i am very intrested in your mk1, it dus look like i a minter.  i am only 19 but i grew up with mk1's because my step dad loved them to.  i do have a 1.3 driver but with a 5 speed box in it now, but i am looking for a better example of a golf. i would make u a serious offer but  would want to view the car first.  where abouts are you based? is there any chance you could get a few pics of the back of the car? wb connor
