Custom Mk1 Swallowtail

Regretful sale of my custom LHD Mk1 swallowtail. This has to be one of the best Mk1s around, fully restored and featuring some of the rarest GENUINE parts man can find (it has taken me 8 years to find them!). No expense has been spared during the rebuild, from the trick chrome parts right down to VW grommets.

- Chrome tailgate strut
- Chrome pedals and handbrake

ELECTRICAL
- Battery relocated to boot using Lupo GTi harness
- Rewired and hidden harnesses, Mk2 16V fusebox
- US spec rear tail lights
- Chrome front headlamp brackets
- Round, inset R32 style custom made instruments with red LED lighting (one-off, imported from the US)
- Chrome front wiper mechanism and carbon motor cover
- Relocated windscreen washer

Now to the pics?

The car drives as well as she looks, with full rolling road and carb tune last year with print out. I have receipts totalling many ?k?s, and would cost ?20-30k to build, if you could find the parts. Car has been dry stored, and only ever used on sunny days. It pains me to sell her, but new car forces sale! Now ?7250ono, without private plate which is negotiable separately. Questions or viewing arrangements (I am located in Bedfordshire) by PM please.

That seems like a fairly sensible price for what is surely one of the best modded Mk1s around.
