******** RARE ******* CHRISTMAS CABRIOLET

Only 750 of these made between NOV- DEC 1986 , all alpine white, blue hoods, blue interior with cc logo and Alpine white snowflake wheels. Also nick named Coco Channel!

Reluctant Sale,This is a gorgeous car, always gets attention, i have spent loads on this little gem,1500 just on parts alone!!! This car has never let me down, flew through the mot, mot guy was impressed. Was planning on getting her in show condition.(not far to go) But it is no longer practical for me to keep.:O(

I have a whole folder of receipts and have just got it back on road after all work carried out.Would love hre to go to a good home, so it can be finished off, be seen at some show's ideal for collector or vw fanatic.

GOOD POINTS;

Car in great condition, hood excellent ( no leaks) folds up and down perfectly..

Engine bay has been cleaned rocker cover and cam cover have been sprayed blue, Chromed fan cover, battery cover, brackets been fitted. looks great!!!!

New spax shocks all round.

Reconditioned and resprayed snowflake wheels, with new vw wheel nut cover. also new wheel bolts and locking nuts

Had back box adjusted so has stainless twin pipes coming from back box. Look nice!!!

Now the bads points:

slight blow from the exhaust, middle where it connects, not prop sealed.

Engine runs a bit rich, think it is air mixture screw needs adjusting or a sensor might be down ( only a few quid ) to replace

Front seats have been changed for bucket seats by previous owners!!! Do have a set of golf seats but haven't got round to putting them in.

2nd gear is a bit stiff to select, the gear linkages just need slightly adjusting.

Slight bubble appearing on front R/h wing,  and one on scuttle and on corner bottom below front bumper. All nothing serious, all minor.

Few stone chips, and small scratches on bumpers, doesn't notice unless close up. but is a 23 yr old car.

 Think there should of been a small spoiler at the front under the bumper but not sure!

Guenuin reason for sale.This is a lovely car that has never let me down.If there is any questions please feel free to ask.  Oh milage is 98k but apparently the pervious owner put a lower milage engine in, so not sure how actuate. I live on the Isle of Wight but willing to meet anyone at Ferry port East cowes side, for pick up or viewing.
