 Description:

After all my searching for my Mark i GTi cabriolet,  I may have to sell it after only a few months' ownership.  The main reason is that, after having it serviced, some other work done and then window and bodywork repaired after some prat tried to break into it outside our local garage before I collected it, I now can't get it home!  I live on a hill in N Wales and we have had over 2 feet of snow so the car is sitting in the valley and unable to get up our hill.  I also have not sold the Subaru that it was going to replace so I have nowhere to park it when I do get it home (which could be weeks and weeks).  It is an H reg GTi in black with 93000 miles on the clock and a power hood.  It is taxed until end April and MoT until May (I think!).  It has been recently serviced and new steering parts fitted (UJ).  Minor faults: the driver's window is misaligned and I have not got round to fixing it (or rather having someone do it for me). 2nd gear sometimes crunches if you are too quick with it.

With what I paid for the car and with what I have spent on tax and all the other work and parts for it, I am asking around £2300 and will be making a loss at that but don't think I have any real choice  :cry:   I also have a bespoke car cover for it worth £150 for sale.
