I am selling my cabby after only a year's ownership as I have been made redundant and can't afford the luxury of a "weekend car".  I have done only a few hundred miles in it.  I had it fully serviced in September and had the following work done:

Service carried out - air filter, oil filter, plugs, brake fluid, oil and screen wash changed
New cambelt fitted and GN timing reset
Check strap tightened on drivers door
N/S inner wing reshaped to clear wide wheel (was catching slightly)
Rear brakes stripped and new shoes fitted and adjusted
New wheel cylinder O/S/R
Handbrake adjusted
N/S/F hub stripped and new outer CV boot fitted
Steering column removed and new S/H UJ joint fitted

The only thing I have not got round to doing is sorting a slightly misaligned driver's side window but am told it is easily fixed, especially by VW enthusiasts who know what they are doing!!

The paintwork is excellent with only a slight bubbling where the windscreen meets the body on the driver's side.

It has a 6 CD changer, power hood, allow wheels, fully working MFA.  I also have a bespoke car cover for winter storage worth £180 and the asking price includes this.

I'll be sorry to see it go but needs must….
