93 Sportline - part ex - feeler

I posted my sportline up for sale a couple of weeks ago but in the end decided to keep her. (see link)

Although, since deciding to keep the car I have managed to do a fair bit to her. I brought brand new set of VAG injectors (?185) I did a full service on her and due to a fuel leak she has had a brand new fuel tank too (I also did the filler neck about 6 months ago). I had some coolant loss but this was down to slight leaks on a couple of hopses and I will be attending to this over the next month or so. She now is very close to being as good as she could be. I love my sportline and have been REALLY happy with her but being a sportline there isn't any scope for modding. There for I am after a nice early series one that I can get that euro look going on with.

sooooo I am offering my sportline up for a possible part ex.

I'm after a mk1 series 1 golf (small rear light model) I will consider most things that meet this criteria but the cars must be mechanically sound as I turned down a company car in order to continue my vdub lifestyle! So this would be my only car.

I am in no rush and would be perfectly happy keeping the sportline indefinitely (especially now summer is on the way)

Anyway just wondered if I could strike up a deal for the right sort of car.
