91 GTI CABRIOLET (QUARTETT) LIMITED EDITION (IRELAND)

Its a limited edition 1991 1.8 8v karmann convertible gti quartett (127000 miles)  first registered january 1991, ordered on the 22/12/1990 with a huge history file including the original bill of sale, old mot's, v5's, all services and work carried out throughout its life in the uk and ireland ,the paint is in good condition its had the boot lid replaced back in 2005 and 1 rear corner repaired and painted, it has upper and lower strut braces and lower anti roll bar fitted , the rear shocks have also been uprated aswell, the interior was tidied a while ago with the front seats getting new foam and re covered and the plastic mat on the drivers carpet being replaced, it has manual windows front and rear but the roof is electric, in my ownership ive serviced it, oil air and fuel filters, 4 tyres, 1 inner cv boot and a coolant flush all precautionary for the NCT of which it has until 2012, this car has had a lot of money spent on it over the years and there is a folder full of comprehensive history to go with it as said above including the original bill of sale, mot's, v5's,receipts for all work carried out over the years, and also an original sales brochure, the car sits on 4 BBS Ra's, with nearly new tyres (about 2000 miles) it has its original roof which i thought had shrunk but just needed adjusted, engine wise its sweet as a nut, with a lovely sound from the 4 branch stainless manifold and new (GENUINE) backbox, it has a pioneer AVIC X1 CD, DVD, SAT-NAV, TV, all singing and dancing stereo and bosch electric aerial (price it on the net ?) mated to fusion 6x9's in the back and mids and tweets in the doors, it also has a toneau cover and a windbreaker for the back, overall the car is no scene queen and does get used so please dont tell me it needs this and that, on a recent run it returned 39 mpg at steady 60 on the motorway, not bad for a 20 year old GTi, this car originated in the uk and came into ireland in 2007 (original vrt receipt included), as far as i know it may be the only quartett in the country, and to find 1 in the uk with history as extensive would be quite a few quid and then the vrt can be anywhere between €1400-€2000 depending on how picky the vro is, anyway i think i;ve covered everything, now down to the nitty gritty….
