89 CABRIO GTI WITH MOT ?350

Mk 1 Golf GTI 1989 with approximatley 10 months MOT

The car recently had a dash fire due to a faulty speedo.  The dash was taken out and the wiring appears to be untouched.  

A new dash comes with the car and the hood needs replacing.

I'm in the wrong job!  

lol, testing the water mate, i know no one off this forum will buy, but there is always a buyer out there.

the car needs a lot of work in the sense of cosmetics.

plan is to get it resprayed,
sort out the rust hole near the hood,
dent on passenger side
and front wing
and scuffs on bumper

then its valet the interior like twice!!!
refit the new dash

clean up the engine bay

sort the whining gearbox

replace teh hood frame
get teh power motor working
and a new hood skin.

finally then it will be pristine

downfall
no service history. at all, one key, one dodgy petrol cap, and the engine needs opening up a bit, brakes need checking too.

so if theres anyone out there who can do any of the above let me know!
