indeed - it was on eGay and although I was warned not to sell there i've always (bar one item) had sound dealings, although I normally only buy but got messed around twice on the trot.

I went to view this car in Bristol. The sunroof has leaked so badly the carpets are sodden. The clutch cable has come through the bulkhead and has had a bodge repair with metalweld. Its got a battery cut off switch installed really badly and the interior has loads of trim missing or half repaired with dodgy screws and the like.

The engine is strong though! From the outside it looks ok, its only when you look closely…

Thanks for the positive feedback there Ben.  I am actually very honest with every person who has ever called me regarding the sale of a car as I am with my mk1. The clutch cable through the bulkhead…. Cause this never goes wrong with a mk1 and isn't clearly visable is it… As for the rest I - please see inital statement!

It's a 24 year old car which has been reduced to ?1250 - What do you expect? A minter…  :dontknow:
