Mk1 Golf 1978 series 1 with 1.8t conversion.

Outside: 1978 Golf N model, Fully rebuilt from ground up, Had a full respray inside and outside in Blue Anthracite, New genuine Wings and bonnet were used which are now obsolete from volkswagen. Had a few subtle body mods taken out while been painted, rear badges removed and smoothed, rear wiper removed and smoothed, ariel hole on wing removed and smoothed, All four arches have been profesionally rolled. The car has also had the engine bay smoothed with all holes and brackets not needed removed and smoothed to tidy up the look of the bay. Glass is all clear and genuine, new genuine windscreen was sourced when re-built.

Chassis: Car is sitting on FK highsport stainless coilovers, Eibach rear anti roll bar, Trimsport rear strut brace, New top mounts, Bugpack poly bushes in front lower arms, rear beam, and rear engine mount.

Wheels: Porsche design 90's, fully refurbed and painted aviator grey, fronts are 6x16 with 165/40 nankang tyres, rears are 8x16 with 195/40 Pirelli tyres, whells and tyres are all like brand new and have covered around 100mile since been re-furbed.

Brakes: Mk2 golf gti front brake conversion, Rear disc conversion with mk4 golf calipers.

Engine: Is a 1.8t AGU with K03 turbo, running on Omex management system, Custom boost pipes, alloy top fill radiator and intercooler, Hidden wiring loom, O2a gearbox, cable change shifter, and hydraulic clutch operation. gearbox colour coded, with alternator, boost pipes, rocker cover, inlet manifold and other bits painted in aviator grey. It has a Forge boost controller, Q-peng downpipe wraped in heat wrap then conected to a jetex 2.5" stainless exhaust system.

Interior: series one dash smoothed and painted gloss black, single pod clock, New carpet, headlining, doorcards re-trimmed in grey, Mk5 golf gti tartan and grey front and rear recaro seats. early centre consol with boost guage in, lupo gear knob, MOMO team 280mm steering wheel.

This car is in excellent condition almost everything on the car is either brand new or been refurbed to the best standard. Im sure i've missed a fair few bits off but there is just too much to list. Been used as my daily car for the past few months and had no problems, sounds awsome on the move, real headturner. selling reluctantly to fund a new project, would love to keep it if i could get away with doing both.
