The Rivage was one of the last and best-equipped models of the Mk1 Golf GTi Cabriolet. only 470 Rivage models were ever sold in the UK, with only 252 of those having leather trim. So with the inevitable decline in numbers over the last twenty years this is a very rare car, and the most desirable of all the Mk1 Cabriolets featuring a new power hood, heated leather seats, electric windows, magnesium alloy Le Castellet polished alloy wheels and a very powerfull speaker systemMy example has covered just 84,500 miles from new, and in my care from its last owner since 2004. it is in totally unmolested and original condition with all original paintwork, Pioneer radio and with all its original owner’s handbooks, dealer keyfobs and miscellaneous documentation complete.

There is a full service history with every MoT certificate from new to verify the mileageNo bodywork is required, there is no corrosion or damage, just the inevitable minor scratches and chips that occur after 22 years.

The hood is brand new and was fitted by D.L.Barr & Sons in Hull this year, the leather interior is original and in good condition, I have the original tonneau cover which has had a repair. Other recent work includes a new set of tyres, a full service, a new battery, new (genuine VW) exhaust and an aluminium front strut bar.
