1989 Gti Karmann cabrio for sale (Gearbox needs replacement)

Hi there

I am selling my 'red cabrio Gti 89. Not an expensive project.

Bad bits

1. Gearbox damaged and the car can only drive 1st (noisy) and reverse.
2. The part where the rear speakers are mounted is missing. I do have a wooden replacement if you want though
3. Leds inside may need a refresh
4. No tax
5. Speakers are quite old but they sound good.

Good bits

1. Engine in excellent condition. Sounds perfect. Only 100k miles
2. Alloy wheels
3. MOT until Nov 09!
4. Hood in excellent condition
5. New tires, battery last year
6. New clutch and cable last year as well.
7. MP3 player

A used gearbox cost around 250? + 200 for the mechanic + something for a general maintenance. So something more than 1k you have a cabriolet GTi up and running!!!
