Description:with sadness i am thinking of selling my cabbie as fed up of all the idiots driving round plymouth nearly hitting it.
its a 1989 gti clipper all white edition (105 made and most in states)
car has 117k on the clock
has 6 months tax and mot
has white roof and interior so looks lovely.
was bought from dan at devondub shack 7 months ago and had been stored for 2 years before that.
car had covered under 1000 miles in last 6 years.(only 50 miles between last mot)
upon getting car home underneath pressure washed and all arches/inner wings spot on,even fuel filler pipe.
car has had loads done since getting it:
full service
coil/leads/cap/arm
cambelt kit
battery
anti freeze
gear linkage kit
gearbox oil
fuel filter
coolant bottle cap
front brake flexi pipes
new febi top mounts
radiator/water pump/heater matrix/temp sensor/rad switch/thermostat
front discs and pads/rear shoes and wheel cylinder
engine mount
radiator fan
coilovers fitted 2 months ago (bought from dan at shack and in very good condition as only couple months old when dan got car in that they were on)
new roof (rear window frame in good condition)
4 tyres 6 months ago on sportline bbs ra 15's with loads of tread left
up-graded speakers front and rear
new alarm system last week (have certificate of one i removed for insurance)
rolling road tuned and just over 100 bhp and pulls lovely.
have brand new luk clutch kit that i picked up for the future but not needed at present that goes with the car
only welding is bulkhead clutch plate as normal (have a proper repair panel to throw in just havnt had time to fit it.
all original underneath and never welded.
i had planned on a full respray for this years shows but car cleans up nice so not a priority
interior is in lovely condition and seats cleaned up really well.
only bits are dash air vents missing and cover panel for the center console where the gauges go is missing.
bad points are just had idiot in tesco catch the rear bumper on the corner and scrape it but this being done by insurance before sale.
rust spot by wipers as normal on mk1's
bottom of boot lid bubbling
slight blow from back box

really dont want to sell but a lovely car that i dont want to see hit and ruined by the dicks driving around plymouth.
car is insured on classic policy for £4250 and my insurance is only £176 fully comp so a nice cheap car to insure.
