1983 mk1 GTI

I have decided to sell my Mk1 GTI.(hard top)
This is in pretty much original condition,it has been off the road since may 2006 when the mot ran out. I had plans on fully restoring this car but unfortunatly other comittments got in the way.
The car starts and runs well the paintwork is patchy could do with a respray,the interia is in exellent condition,Drivers seat in good condition as i have fitted a seat cover from a spare passenger seat,original number plates front and rear, 180,000 on the clock not bad for a car this age! Gear linkage bushes need replacing pretty easy to do,reverse lights not working suspect switch, and the horn works intermittantly. Other than that a pretty sound car,but obviously viewing recommended as i'm no expert.
Has all relevent paperwork,old mot's,some history etc.
Looking for around ?1000 but am open to offers.
