1983 mars red golf 1.8gti

I bought this to restore and get back on the road but the only thing stoppin me is no funds and a slight running problem. Full respray in mars red all pics can be seen on link below. Its a 1983 1.8gti k jet with a audi 80 bottom end, lots of receipts and old m.o.t's. Clocks showing 167k no tax or m.o.t. i do have v5. Just got a new warm up reg on it and ticks over fine drives fine except it splutters when you put your foot down. Smoothed tailgate and passenger side mirror, 14" alloys with good tyres, coilovers, bumpers removed, heaters work, wipers work, seats arent perfect but door cards/dash are in good condition (back seat looks like its had a few cig burns) but all round good shell. Theres no stereo in it and just needs numberplate lights wiring up.
