1983 Lhasa Green MK1 1.8 GTi for sale

I've owned this car for about 14 years. It's part of the family.

It had a full restoration externally with a complete re-spray etc from Tim Jhonson to the tune of £2000 about 2 years ago. It needs some engine work to repair a problem caused by a monkey at a local electrical specialist who cracked the sump when 'parking' the car on a raised area.

I don't have any mechanical skills to fix this myself and have been weighing up whether or not to get an engine restoration done to match the exterior that has been done already. Thats still an option although if I can get a reasonable offer then I'm willing to let it go.

The car is currently SORN and is sat on my drive looking for someone to take him out! (it's definitely a he)
