Here we have my beloved A-reg GX for sale, i am the 4th driver to have the honour of owning this little beauty and have known every previous driver from new.

The car is in original condition and is good on the inside and out.  I got the car 6 years ago at 46,000 miles and have done the other 28,000 over this period with a 2 year break in the middle where i was able to dry store the car.  I am regretfully selling the car due to lack of space.

Bad points:

one side of the front splitter is missing the other side is damaged.
Dent to front near side wing right at the bottom below bumper (as shown in photo)
laquer and paint damage on wing around fuel filler, due to messy fuel theives (shown in photo)
Original fuel filler cap missing, again due to the thieves

Good points

On the whole the exterior and interior are in good condition
Relatively low mileage
Completely original GX no mods or messing around done to it
Rare model, not a great deal of them on the road
Runs well , no problems starting
New alterator last year
Brand new webber replacement carb 4000 miles ago
Cam belt done at 60,000

This car has served me well, its a good runner in good condition and i can sadly no longer offer it the care and attention it deserves.  Please take it off my hands, and enjoy owning a great looking and rare MK1 Golf.
