 Description:

A 1.8 GTI tintop in Schwarz Black. I have had the car since the end of last year and have spent the last few months bringing her back up to spec. She has had;

- Refurbished alloy wheels, acid dipped and powder coated in the original silver
- Timing belt, rear silencer, general service including oil change, new filters and plugs
- Replacement rear arch and bodywork tidied up

I have spent over £1,000 on her and many hours work. She also has full service history with many receipts, totaling over £2,500 in the last few years. Kept within the same family since 1987, it has been thoroughly looked after and cared for.

The engine had a rebuilt cylinder head at 165,000 miles. The panels and chassis are now very solid with no rust present.

The interior is also in very good condition; no tears to the seats, headlining good and the parcel shelf is also good with no speak cut outs.

She drives very well - gear change is smooth and accurate, engine is responsive and the car changes direction just like a GTI should.

Overall, a very solid and honest car. No doubt you'll find one with lower mileage but don't let that put you off this car - it drives fantastically and has loads of history.
