1983 GTI - Now for Sale !

I did not think I would ever be writing this but it looks as if my GTI will be put up for sale.

Details as follows :

1. 1983 Registered 1.8 GTI
2. Mileage - 102,000
3. Recent work including Cambelt and full Service, Gear Linkage, Sound Fuller filler neck etc
4. Sound bodywork and interior
5. MOT to Feb 2009
6. Tax to March 2009
7. Usual wadge of supporting paperwork and history file
8. I am the 4th owner

Any help with a valuation much appreciated.

What ever you can get for it as not many people are parting with decent cash at the mo due to this thing called 'credit crunch'!

Thanks everyone for the advice.  Yes, I have looked at the club price guide and similar cars for sale…..and I know about the 'credit crunch'.  No great hurry to sell but as I may be converting the garage I will have nowhere to store the golf. Having read your opinions I am thinking about ?2995.
