I bought this excellent example in may this year and unfortunately work requires me to drive many miles now, so I am having to part with my beloved GTI and get a diesel!

The car is in excellent condition from the examples i looked at when buying this car. I had a enthusiast who restores golfs to check it out and he could not believe how solid it is. There is no rust in any of the major problems areas.

I have renewed the undelay and washed the carpets and found no rot underneath at all, totally solid.
The seats have no wear and are in excellent condition.
All the instruments including VDO dials work. Fans blow strong.

Mechanically the engine is solid, no faults what so ever, totally original and looked after.

The original golf alloys will be supplied and are just stored.

The exterior is in excellent condition, bright Mars red. There are a couple of chips. And ONLY two areas that need attention -  The rear bottom left has rust that has started, only on the body - not structural.
The sunoof has rust on the edge. I have a replacement sunroof that i can throw in. Just needs spraying and refitting.

This is a totally honest sale and over my time owning this car i have had no problems running it daily, its been a joy to drive.
