1982 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GLI KARMANN CABRIOLET RED £995 ono
MOT to 15 April 2012
115000 Miles
1.6 Injection with 5 speed gearbox
Recent new white with red piping vinyl interior.
New rear drums and wheel bearings
New rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes, handbrake cable and master cylinder.
New clutch cable.
New mid section exhaust.
New gear linkage bush kit.
Kenwood CD player.
New Radiator and Water Pump fitted last weekend.
MiM 152 alloys with 195/50/15 Avons.
Top is in good condition and does not leak with just a couple of tiny hard to spot nicks at near the bodywork.
Drives real nice with a good tight gear shift thanks to the new linkage kit.
The temperature gauge is a bit lazy but this could well be the sender unit.
The petrol runs out just after it has gone into the red.
There are three after market gauges fitted at the bottom of the center console but these are not connected.
The bodywork has some bubble rust in places and there is dent on the near side rear above the lights.
This is a nice car for the summer and with some TLC could be a real stunner.
