1982 mk1 gti fast road tin top (non sunroof)

hi unfortunatly i am having to sell my golf gti. it is a silver 1982 gti non sunroof model with spares.

the car is located in melksham, wiltshire

she has had alot of money spent on her, modifications include:

2.0 8v bubble block
TSR pack c head
tsr 202 cam
full rebuilt gear box with quaffe ATB diff fro TSR (fitted but not used 0 miles!!)
black diamond clutch
larger throttle bodie from an audi with wur
tsr 4-1 exhaust manifold
supersprint mani back exaust (sounds very nice)
jetex filter
eiback springs
eiback anti roll bars
full polybushed
front brakes calipers are from an audi sport (very big)
front discs are black diamond drilled and groved
rear brake disk conversion
goodridge brake hoses

exterior is standard gti trim and in my opinoin could benifit from a respray.

interior is in good condition other than requiring a new parcel shelf and rear door card.

mecanicaly as you can see most of it has been upgraded, the engine pulled very hard befor i broke the gearbox since then i have fitted a fully reconditioned item with a quaffe atb differential costing me a massive £1200, i have recentaly replaced two inner cv joints and one outer and fitted a new front wheel bearing.

(i currently am rebuliding the gear linkages as could not find first when the new gearbox was fitted, this should all be sorted befor the end of the week)

also included is alot of spares:

4x ats cups require refurb (3x with good tires 1 requires staigtening)
1x passanger door
1x drivers door
1x bonnet
1x boot(with glass)
1x windscreen
1x rear bench
1x 1.8gti engine (removed to fit the 2.0 engine, pulled very well befor removal)
1x brand new clutch
2 x boxes of varios interior and mecanical parts
set of window rubbers
set of black plastic side stipes
probably more but is locked away in a mates shed.

this is a very nice car i will be sad to see her go

i am looking for 2500 (the gearbox alone is worth 1200) but am open to sensible offers
