tax just run out and the car is now sorned as is garaged through the winter
The car was imported in dec 1985 it has had 10 owners but the last owner had it for over 12 years
I bought the car in august and it had just had:
Full respray
under sealed
New discs and pads
Oil and filter change
New hella headlights
moted
Since then i have bought and fitted the following with receipts:
New starter motor
New bosch battery
New upgraded headlight wiring loom
£50 worth of ultra headlight bulbs
new upgraded mk2 golf wiper motor
dashboard as old one had a few holes in it
new fuel pump relay
bosch ignition leads
air filter
thermostat and housing
clocks and new bulbs still have original clocks both showing 93k miles
new boot gas strut
metering head
fifth injector (cold start valve)
warm up regulator
new hella fuel filler cap
new ignition starter switch
washer jet
bonnet stay
clear front indicator lenses and amber bulbs
new pedal rubbers
debadged grill
rohr induction pipe
speaker grills
quality German pressed number plates ( still got originals)
chrome dash surround
audiobahn 12"sub and jbl amp
boot carpet
There is probably other things i have forgot.
I also have a mk2 golf gti bigger master cylinder and servo and bonnet lifters that haven't been fitted but are included in the sale.

The golf is fitted with a CD player
It is on 15" BBS Ra alloy wheels in good condition with few small kerb marks on outside edge of wheels
The tyres are in very good condition
I was told the car has been previously lowered 60mm on koni shocks and springs
The car is fitted with a clipper kit

The car starts first time from cold but can be difficult to start once hot but engine runs well its something simple but im no mechanic
The alternator works fine but has a noisy bearing
The paint work is very nice but in close up in places is not quite as shiney

Overall the car is in very good condition just needs that last 10% to make it a show car

I have the v5 log book and mot also some old mots.
always been garaged since i have owned it
only cost £185 to insure fully comp under classic car insurance!
been as honest as i can
No time wasters or test pilots
