1982 Golf Cabby 1.5GL Auto - Super Retro !!!!

Hi all

I'm selling my 1982 Golf 1.5GL Auto

The car is finished in Metallic Sudan Brown which is a very rare colour only manufactured between 1982 & 1983, it looks fantastic

Car is in reasonable condition, it has original paint

Lowered 40mm and has very deep dish polished 15" alloys which look similar to ATS cups but are slightly different

Interior is brown and in good condition, the front seats have been replaced with leather recaros which are in a tan colour and suit the car well

Single lanp chrome edged grill

Engine runs well and has had the following replaced in the last 200 miles

Full service, oil, filters etc
Timing belt & tensioner
Gaskets
Water pump
Belts

Fresh MOT ends May 2011
Currently SORN'D

This car turns so many heads and is such fun, don't let being an auto put you off, great for cruising and the auto box is sweet, kickdown works perfectly etc.

I'm selling because i've got my eye on a new project


Its 27 years old and very original so has a few small issues

Hood has a slight tear but does'nt seem to leak
Instrument pod is erratic been told its a switch but seems to only play up since the indicator relay was changed
Speedo does'nt work but rev counter and everything else does when instruments are working, may just need a cable
Paint looks great but up close would need a blow over to be A1, however its very solid and no rot box
