1981 MK 1 VW GOLF GTI, 2 LITRE ENGINE CONVERSION REDUCED

MK 1 GOLF GTI, WAS ORIGINALLY A 1600 GTI BUT I HAVE NOW CONVERTED IT TO A 2 LITRE 8 VALVE. FULL 2 LITRE LOOM, ENGINE AND GEARBOX FITTED AND RUNNING. STARTS NO PROBLEM AND RUNS, TICKS OVER NO PROBLEM. APPROX 108K MILES. THE DONOR CAR WAS A K REG MARK 3 GOLF WHICH I OWNED AND USED PRIOR TO DOING THIS CONVERSION SO I KNOW ITS A GOOD ENGINE. FRONT BRAKES ARE G60 CORRADO 280MM DISCS AND CALIPERS WITH CONVERTED BRACKETS. MK 1 EXHAUST WITH 3 INCH TWIN UPSWEPT STAINLESS BACK BOX. REAR BRAKES ARE 330MM SPECIALIST BRAKES AND CALIPERS, NOT FITTED BUT INCLUDED. FULL GTI BODYKIT WITH CUSTOM DEEP FRONT BUMPER. SINGLE HEADLIGHT BADGELESS GRILL. NO RUST UNDERNEATH. SUNROOF IS SEALED SHUT BUT COMES WITH FULL MECHANISM. ALLOY FILLER CAP, BLUE AND BLACK LEATHER COLOUR CONCEPT FRONT SEATS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH BRAND NEW 4 POINT BLUE HARNESSES. MK 4 POLO DASHBOARD AND CLOCKS, 15 INCH SEAT ALLOYS, WHICH ARENT VERY NICE BUT WILL DO TO ROLL IT AROUND. TYRES ARENT GREAT. ALLOY WINDOW WINDERS, ALLOY HEADER TANK, STRUT BRACE.

NEEDS A LITTLE BIT OF WIRING WITH DASH SWITCHES BUT ALL WIRING AND SWITCHES THERE. SOME LIGHT WIRING IN THE ENGINE BAY I.E LIGHTS AND ALTERNATOR, BUT AGAIN, ALL THE PARTS ARE THERE AND I WILL INCLUDE WHATS LEFT OF THE 1600 LOOM WHICH HAS ALL THE CORRECT CONNECTORS. NEEDS DASH FITTED BETTER, WINDOW RUBBERS ON DOORS AND SOME GENERAL BITS AND BOBS. NO SILLY OFFERS PLEASE. I KNOW WHAT THESE ARE WORTH!
