1980 MK1 Golf GTi tintop

This is a very early MK1 Gti series 2 - registered October 80 when the facelift launched in September 80.

It has a steel sunroof and green tinted glass.

Needs restoration - I bought it partially stripped and have put parts together it needs to complete.

Missing bits are parcel shelf mainly, wipers - I do have a few spares so maybe able to help.

The fuel meter unit and air box are with car but not fitted yet - it is a 1600 engine with 5 speed box.

I've got to the age I don't want to lay under cars anymore. 😄

I'm open to reasonable offers.

There is the blue wallet and handbook plus plenty of invoices and old MOTs etc.
