1980 1.6 GLi Karmaan Cabriolet

"Murphy" is a very original example, still in the original coat of brazil bronze metallic with the original cream leather roof.
He is one of the earliest known examples, registered just four months after they started making them in this country.
He has done 145,500 miles, and still runs sweet.
We had a new fuel tank, filler neck and cambelt fitted just 2000 miles ago.
Recently fitted with new brake discs and pads on the front.
It still has the original  brown striped interior and brown leather trim, and has been fitted with a walnut effect cd player. I have put seat covers on to protect the original seats.
It has 12 months MOT and is taxed until the end of August, but I am willing to put 6 months tax on if the buyer wants.
It has also been professionally fitted with a towbar and tows our small caravan very well indeed.
"Murphy" is a joy to drive, and we will be sad to see him go, but needs must!
