1979 Series 1 Gti, low mileage with history

Hi

I would prefer not to sell this but then again the price may put people off.

I have a 1979 series 1 GTI 1600cc 4 speed.
74,000 miles with full history and MOTs
5 owners
silver with red tartan trim
condition is good. This means it would look good at any show but there are imperfections.
New MOT
I have been told to insure for £10k so i would consider offers of £8k
