1978 Series1 golf gti Mars Red. 90% finished

Just thought i would put a Feeler out to see if i get any tempting offers.
Ive had the car a while now and its just sat in a lock up, i havnt the time really to finish it off. The car is as follows:
Mars Red Series one golf Gti 3 door.
1.8 16V KR engine and 5 speed gear box.
Scoripon Stainless middle section and rear box.
AVO coilovers all round.
14" Pirelli P-slots.
Small chin spoiler.
The car has had a full respray a couple of years ago but has not seen the road since .
The lacquer has peeled off in a couple of places but  isnt that noticable. The car is totally solid.
It also has the original Mac Tartan interior in which has had the material reversed so is nice and fresh.
It also comes with the original Dashboard, centre console and door cards and the original Wolfsburg 3 spoke steering wheel.
The only bad point is that it has had an after market sun roof fitted but it is a decent quality one and doesnt leak.

The car is 90% finished, it needs an exhaust manifold for the 16v
conversion and then the loom fitting and setting up.
I'll try and upload some pics of the car in the next couple of days.

As i say, this is just a feeler to see what interest i get in the car.

Original Series1 Gti seats (Mc Tartan material).
Will post them on parts for sale 2moro, hopefully with some pics and a price.
