'89 F reg Karmenn Cabriolet MUST GO :-(

Hello………..

This is the sadest thing I ahve ever had to do, it is with regret that I have to put my cabriolet up for sale as they 'British summer' has killed my normal peugot 306 runner so I really need the money to buy something I can run everyday ……………………
Heres some pics of her ……





Ok here it goes………….

- 1989 1.8 GTI Karmenn cabriolet
- 63000 genuine miles on the clock
- Completely standard
- chrome grill
- chrome side strips
- fully working hood (NO rips or tears)
- Torneau cover
- standard snowflake alloys + 4 BRAND NEW tyres
- Mint interior (no burns, rips, marks etc etc)
- BRAND NEW radiator
- BRAND NEW battery
- BRAND NEW fan belt

A few bad points :
- She has no MOT at the mo, she is up and running and ready to go though .- She has a small patch of rust around the filler cap (see pic)
- Some moron drove into the back of her the 2nd day I had her and its let a small ding in her boot lid.
- tiny tiny patch of rust on the pax side rear quater (hardly noticabable but see pic anyway)




Now for the painfull bit…. I paid ?2000 for her last summer, but I am desperate for the money so I am open to ANY sensible offers in the region ?1650 ono……..

Its horrid to have to do it but we still have the tin topper !!!

The peugot got stuck in a massive rain storm this afternoon, a river burst its banks and we were up to our knees trying to save her but it was to late !!!! it was just like one of those cheesy american real life video programs where you see people getting washed away down rivers !!!

Think your problem is lack of MOT. Looks a reasonable motor for the ? if 12 months ticket was included.

This would reassure people it was in reasonable order and make it much easier to collect and get home without being arrested. Too many number plate reading police systems looking for MOT/tax/insurance-less cars, risky business. :?

Will cost you ?40 and even if it fails you can tell people on what, so they have an idea how much or how little it would cost to put back on the road. :dontknow:

I had the same problem selling my cab eairler this year, No mot usally makes people think, something is seriously wrong.

Good luck with  sale looks like a good car overall.

Shes going in for her MOT this week fingers crossed she'll pass !!!! then hopefully someone will give her a loving home
