Would I need subframes?

Recently bought a restored mk1 golf with a 1.8 engine. I have seen some really nice bucket seats

Would I need subframes? If so where can I get them from? 100 a piece from ebay seems a rip off. Thanks

If I were you I'd get an old set of seats, and cut off what you need!

Thanks for the reply. Which kind of old seats? The standard ones which are in it now?
