Wobbly seats
I saw some seat runner clips on fleabay for about ?4. that seemed to suggest that they could fix the loose seats but will these do the trick?

There are no guarantees in life but the probability is that yes. These can wear out and come off over time so I'd get a set and try it out.

If it wobbles at the front , there's another thing which sits here and makes it run smoothly, a wedge-like piece of plastic/rubber.

Nothing more off putting than a wobbly seat when you're cornering!!!

Cheers, yeah both the front seats wobble at the back.paul_c said
If it wobbles with the movement at the back, it will be these. The other parts involved are metal, so unlikely to wear to that extent, in fact I could bet the plastic runners are missing.
My clips from ebay turned up, 2 grey and 2 white clips, but they came with no instructions. Doh!
Stupid question, but do they just push into the seat runners?

Why not just give them a ring?
GWTaylor, I've got new ones and yes that are a snug fit, my advise, stop playing with the seat mate!

they're called seat runner clip inner and outer, part numbers 88530 and 88532.
Or you could just go into a gsf shop, they'll probably know the parts

I put these new clips on my car stopped all wobble but STILL it's still very hard to move both seats forward and back
Have you tried a little bit of grease on the clips and in the runways, where they slide ??
