Wing removal tips please

Hi all!

 I have to remove the o/s wing to cut out some corosion and weld in a patch, i'd rather do it this was than fit the complete pattern part wing i've just bought. This is the original wing and as such the mating faces are absolutly covered in seam sealer! I've heard horror stories about trying to seperate the two and was wondering if there's any sure fire tips to make the job easier and to end up with a removed, crease free wing. Have heat gun, will travel :-)

i would unbolt and knife down each seem

a bit of heat would help as well

A small blow torch really helped me, it softened the underseal and allowed the wing to come away.
