wing gaps

i'm having my wings refitted as the gaps are too small making my bonnet stick out too far can any one give me the measurement for the gaps between the wing and door and also between the wing and the scuttle panel, many thanks

Even gap all round is the measurement using existing correctly panels / doors etc . Pattern wings ? You will have to fettle as best you can

  

thanks chudd, they are genuine wings but it can be hit or miss as vw used alot of sealer on the back leg of the wing which brings it out forward more and i just needed to know if there was an actual measurement to go by
