wing gap size

Hi,
Just seeing if any one could help, I have got 2 new front wings for my mk 1 gti, they came from GSF when fitted there is a big gap between them and door, just seeing if any one knows what the gap size should be please and thanks.

happens with pattern wings , gap should be as aesthetic as you can get it . Even all round .

I sugest a block of wood and a big hammer to sort it

My pattern wings were terrible too. Ended up getting some fibreglass ones moulded from original ones. Perfect fit.
