Window rubbers with chrome infill (fitting & tool) ?

Hi All
Wishing too fit all my chrome infill rubbers to my 3door GTI tintop, anyone got any tips on fitting & where to get the  tool from to fit the chrome infill, have tried typing the following on the net & on ebay but no luck:
Car rubber infill tool
"             " locking strip tool
"             " bead tool
Also before i order how much infill do i buy for the two rear side windows, will a windscreen length half & fit them both, as thats the only lengths they sell on ebay??
Any help would be great as car is painted & i am dying to get windows fitted!!!!!!!!
Cheers Rob

HI,

Frosts do the tool, if you ask Chortle very nicely I think he has one, or its £35 ouch! You can get cheaper tools on ebay for about a tenner. Type in windscreen chrome trim tool or something like that and its just a handle with a bit of metal bent to a diamond type shape.

I got mine off ebay (the chrome trim inserts) and they come with enough for one windscreens worth, so you will need two (about 80 odd quid)

Or VW heritage do them I think

Would one windscreen trim be enough to do the rear side windows?

The rear side windows are actual chrome strips whereas the front and rear screen are flex plastic stuff. They sometimes appear on ebay thought
