Window problem, whats this called?

hey guys

Whats the metal object that holds the bottom of the window which is fitted to the centre runner?

I ask because mine has rusted through so i now cant close my window

Where can i get one?

technically its the runner the other bit is the track.

but vw call it the lift the channel.

the above works out at about £16.00 inc postage. So these are not to bad priced, just have to wait for them.

£17 or so and still available from VW…

really? and idea of part code etc i can use at my local ?

You can just walk in and ask for the part at the parts counter, tell them your model and year etc
